Remove Stretch Marks Once And For All With These Cures.

Anyone can get those stretch marks, those reddish purplish lines on the legs or abdomen. Sometimes stretch marks fade over time, leaving white streaks on the skin. But stretch marks will not disappear on their own.

Stretch marks usually happen during pregnancy or when rapid weight gain has occurred, although they can also be caused by rapid muscle growth, such as during adolescence. Stretch mark happens when the skin’s middle layer is stretched and looses elasticity. The result is scarring on the outer skin layer which becomes translucent enough to for those stretch marks to become visible.

Stretchmarks can take a toll on your self-esteem.

While stretch marks aren’t life threatening, they can be unsightly. Many people become very self-conscious. They wear concealing clothes and store away the bathing suit, because going to the beach or pool has become unthinkable.

There are a variety of options for people suffering from stretch marks. A tummy tuck will removed the stretch marks, as well as any abdominal fat, but surgery carries risk and is expensive.

Laser surgery is an option for stretch mark removal. However, the cost can be as high as $10,000. In addition, laser surgery is primarily effective on new stretch marks and light skin only, thus limiting its usefulness.

Micro Dermabrasion may offer some relieve from stretch marks, but such a procedure calls for a dozen of treatments over a six to nine month period. This is both time consuming and expensive.

New research has shown that certain creams have proven to be a very effective means of reducing or eliminating stretch marks, which is why so many people are opting for cream treatment as opposed more expensive and less effective methods.

Removal of Stretch Marks is Now Easier with Newer Treatments.

You don’t have to live with unsightly stretchmarks anymore! Whether you want to simply take advantage of creams or visit a doctor for surgery, there are a number of tools available to safely and quickly reduce and remove stretch marks.

The causes of stretch marks

When the skin is forced to rapidly expand, sometimes the body can’t properly compensate fast enough to grow new support structures which leads to epidermal tearing. These tears appear as bruise-like purple and red marks in lines across the body which will more often than not fade into white scar tissue. Rapid growth is mostly the result of pregnancy or weight gain, although bodybuilders, teenagers going through puberty, and a few others will experience this phenomena as well.

Popular treatments for stretch scars.

Creams and lotions are the simplest method for removing stretch marks. A good lotion will include vitamin E and other necessary supplements which will help repair damaged skin. This process helps lessen and remove visible scars, but will not remove them. However, it will lighten and otherwise help render them unnoticeable except under very close scrutiny.

The most effective way to remove stretch marks is via laser resurfacing. This process takes months of repeated doctor’s visits but will almost completely remove scars and other skin markings. Typically, the process is fairly expensive and requires a large time investment. This is a great procedure for recovering from major damage but is often impractical for small touch ups.

With our new understanding of stretch marks and how to remove them, we can work wonders on the human body. Pregnant women can even apply anti-stretch mark creams to their bellies while expecting to help reduce or completely avoid stretch marks that form. If you’ve been feeling self-conscious about your stretch marks, be sure to take advantage of all these new and exciting medical options today!

Stretch marks creams work the best to remove stretch scars.

So often a skin problem during pregnancy or significant changes in weight, stretch marks can prove unsightly, uncomfortable and embarrassing. Scars will appear with some discoloration at first, but fade as they age. The scarring can leave voids in the skin where the dermis layer has been torn beneath the surface. Stretch marks are most likely to occur in areas of the body where fat is stored at high levels. The belly is an especially frequent area for women who are pregnant or go through hormonal changes.

Common causes of stretch marks.

Puberty, weight gain, hormonal changes and pregnancy all test the elasticity of human skin. Many times the skin is not flexible enough to withstand the tension from the growng body and tears at the dermis level. Though stretch marks don’t pose any definitive health risks, the cosmetic problems they pose are accompanied in many cases by itching or tightness at the breaking point of the dermis. Research seems to indicate that the tearing of the skin is due primarily to genetics. While controlling genetic make-up is impossible, scientists and dermatologists have been addressing the issue of stretch marks for years in search of a viable treatment.

How to remove stretch marks.

Cocoa butter is often promoted as having a healing property that remedies stretch marks. While considered an effective moisturizer there is no evidence that cocoa butter actually heals stretch marks or improves their appearance. Without a cream that can penetrate into the dermis or promote healthy rehabilitation of the area, the options for stretch marks treatment are limited to cosmetic procedures to fix the appearance of skin after the fact. Many people affected by this condition will undergo dermabrasion or laser procedures to smooth the skin in an area where the dermis was torn underneath. These methods can prove costly and often involve some recovery time.

Most women know what stretch marks are: those unattractive lines we get across our skin after pregnancy, weight gain/loss or even after some surgeries. But what are they exactly, and perhaps more importantly, how does one get rid of them?

How stretch marks form.

First of all, stretch marks occur when the dermis, the elastic middle layer of skin, is constantly stretched and finally breaks down. The resulting stretch marks begin as red or purple in color, but eventually fade to silvery streaks. The problem is most commonly associated with women, but men are susceptible too, especially across the arms, belly and lower back.

Popular treatments for stretch marks.

There are many ways to treat stretch marks, from high-tech laser surgery to over the counter lotions. Procedures like dermabrasion, chemical peels and laser surgery should be performed by a professional, and with the permission of your doctor. These methods can be expensive, and most insurance will not cover them for stretch marks since they are considered cosmetic. If you opt for one of these, do your homework and ensure you go to a licensed, reputable expert.

A less expensive and less risky method is to try over the counter creams and oils. Vitamin E has shown good results in reducing the appearance of stretch marks, so try a cream with a high concentration of that ingredient. Most of this type of product can be applied as often as you like, but be sure to read the directions first.

Finally, be aware that genetics play a role in the occurrence and severity of stretch marks. Some people are just more prone to them, while others reach their ninetieth birthday without a mark on them! However, you can make your skin more supple and make stretch marks less noticeable with any of the methods above.

Prevent and Eliminate Stretch Marks the Quick and Easy Way!

Hello All, Sarah Shane here!

Back when I was pregnant with my first child, the idea of getting stretchmarks was completely foreign to me.  I thought that stretchmarks were something that men got when they are heavy into body building. Boy was I wrong!  As soon as Brian, my first child, started to get bigger, I noticed more and more white lines appearing on my stomach. At first, I wrote it off and figured it was only a temporary thing that would go away after some time. After giving birth, and time passed for my stomach to slim down, the stretch marks were still there! And I was not happy!

So I went looking online for some cures for stretchmarks…

I tried all the popular methods online, however none of them produced any real results for me. I tried:

Cocoa Butter - Despite the claims all over the internet saying this stuff works well, it did hardly anything for my already existant stretch marks. I guess if I used it WHILE I was pregnant, it might have reduced my stretch marks. However, it did nothing for me after the fact.

Tissue Massage + moisturizer - This is another method that did work a little bit, but nothing to spectacular. What I was told to do was massage my scars while simultaneously rubbing in moisturizer. It was pretty painful and was unable to produce results that made the treatment worthwhile.

I gave up and talked to my doctor about it.

I decided to forget all this internet mumbo jumbo and go straight to a doctor who actually knows what they are talking about. She gave me a couple options:

  1. Get a tummy tuck surgery - there is no way I am spending all that money and taking a risk just to get some little scars removed. So I threw out that option right away.
  2. Order some Revitol Stretch Mark Cream.

After she suggested the Revitol cream, I told her I had already tried the cocoa butter with no luck. She then told me that Revitol is a completely different solution that both prevents, but most of all, clears up stretch marks in a very short time frame.

I went home and ordered some off the internet.

revitol_stretch_mark_4ozSo back to the internet I went. I found the Revitol website here, and ordered the cream and three days later it was waiting for me in my mail box. I followed the directions and applied it once during the day and once before I went to bed. It seemed too good to be true…

To my surprise, within a weeks time I noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of my stretch mark scar tissue. It turned out, that the Revitol Stretch Mark Cream worked, and worked very well! I continued my treatment for about a month, and my stretch marks were practically gone.

I highly recommend you give Revitol a try!

While yes, it didn’t clear up my scars 100%, it did a pretty darn good job. Sometimes I have to look at my stomach for a few seconds before I can even notice the remnants of the scars left behind from my pregnancy. For that reason, I can personally recommend Revitol because I know it works, and I am pretty certain that you won’t find a better solution anywhere else. If you have stretchmarks, I highly suggest you give Revitol stretchmark cream a try here.
